Dagens dikt: Absolutely Cuckoo av Stephin Merritt

Jag skrev just till Embla att Magnetic Fields är det bästa som någonsin hänt musiken. Det är inte riktigt sant, för Beatles är nog viktigare ändå. Men vad gäller texter så slår Stephin Merritt och Magnetic Fields det mesta. Och det är ju det vi talar om i denna kategorin. 

 

Det kommer mera. Men till att börja med kan vi ta första sången från 69 Love Songs, som är fantastisk. I all sin egentliga enkelhet.
